TCL 50 LE - Restart in Safe Mode

Safe mode is a diagnostic state on your TCL 50 LE that only runs system apps so you can isolate if a third-party app is causing freezing or slowness.
  1. Press and hold the
    Volume up
     and
    Power
     buttons on the right edge of the device until the 'Power off menu' displays then release.
    An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
    .
  3. From the 'Restart in safe mode' prompt, tap
    Turn On Safe Mode
    .
    This process may take up to 30 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower left of the screen.
  5. To exit Safe Mode, restart the device.
