Here's how to set up Safe Walk using the Verizon Family Guardian and Companion apps.
- To perform the steps below, ensure the Verizon Family apps are installed.
- Two actions are needed to set up Safe Walk for your Dependent:
- Assign emergency contacts via the Guardian app
- Set a Safe Walk SOS PIN via the Companion app
- During Safe Walk setup, you’ll have the opportunity to practice sending an SOS during a Safe Walk session. In Practice mode, emergency contacts are not alerted.
- Safe Walk SOS does not call 911.
