Set Up Wi-Fi Connection - Windows®

Here's how to set up an available Wi-Fi network on your Windows computer.
  • If your Windows operating system is unknown, refer to Determining Software Version - Windows.
  • If you are unable to locate the Wi-Fi switch on your computer, browse to the Product support page for your computer model to view the User Guide's Wi-Fi switch info section.
  • When using a notebook, make sure that the network adapter switch on your computer is turned on.
    Many notebooks have a physical switch somewhere on the top, front, or side of the computer that turns the network adapter on or off.
    There's usually an indicator light on the notebook that shows if the wireless network adapter is enabled.
