Update the Gmail Password - Android

Here's how to update the password for your Gmail account from your Android device.
The following is only applicable when:
  • A Gmail™ account has been previously set up on the Android™ device.
  • The account password has been subsequently changed via the Gmail or Google website.
  1. From the Home screen, swipe down on the status bar.
  2. Tap
    Account Action Required

  3. From the 'Verify it's you' screen, tap

  4. Enter the appropriate password then tap
