Verizon Family - Access App

Here's how to access the Smart Family or Companion app on your smartphone or tablet.
  • Verizon Family app
     : Allows a Guardian to manage, monitor, locate or control their Dependent's device using a smartphone or tablet.

  • Companion app
     : Must be installed and paired on the Dependent's device to allow the Guardian to set up Parental Controls such as: content filters, location services and pause internet features.

If not available, ensure the family app or companion app is installed.
  1. From the Verizon Family app, tap
    Verizon Sign in
    .
  2. From the Sign in screen, enter the appropriate credentials for My Verizon.
    You must sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has account owner or manager access privileges, if your password is unknown, it can be reset.
  3. Tap
    Remember My Sign in
     to save log in info.
  4. Tap
    Sign in
    .
  5. From the 'Turn on Face ID' screen, review the 'Terms of Use', then tap the
    checkbox
    .
  6. Tap
    Turn on
     to enable Face ID.
    If you choose 'Not now', you can set up Biometrics and Keep Me Signed In through the app menu anytime.
  7. App will launch to Home screen.
