BlueJeans Meetings on the One Talk Mobile app

BlueJeans Meetings can be hosted or attended as a guest via the One Talk mobile app. Dolby Voice and HD video collaboration integrated for a seamless user experience.

  1. Logging into BlueJeans

    Mobile app for One Talk Plus and One Talk Pro users

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. One Talk Plus and One Talk Pro users will be automatically logged into their account when the Meetings tab on the app is opened and will not have to enter an email or username to log in.

    Mobile app for users with a separate BlueJeans subscription

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Press Sign In Here.

    4. Enter the email or username associated with the BlueJeans account.
    5. Press Next.

    6. Enter the password.

    7. Press Sign In to continue.

    Mobile App - Calendar Setup

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Click Integrate Your Calendar Here.

    4. Select from the available options of Office 365, Google Calendar and the device's Calendar app.

    5. Follow the steps for the selected option to complete calendar integration setup.
    6. Your integrated calendar will show BlueJeans meetings on the BlueJeans Meetings main screen.

    Mobile App - Revoke Calendar Access

    1. Navigate to the main menu section in the upper left corner of the app.

    2. Select Settings.

    3. Select Meetings.

    4. Select the calendar selection.

    5. Choose Revoke Access.

  3. Schedule a BlueJeans Meeting

    Note: You must be logged in as a BlueJeans Host to schedule a BlueJeans meeting.

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Press Schedule a Meeting (only available when calendar is empty) or press the add calendar icon on the right-hand side of the black meetings bar.

    4. On the Schedule Meeting screen:

      1. Enter the meeting title.
      2. Select start and end time.
      3. Select recurrence from the options.
        1. Never
        2. Daily
        3. Weekly
      4. Select the option to require a passcode or not.
      5. Invite attendees using the following options:
        1. Select from phone contacts
        2. Enter emails in the line provided (press enter after each email)
        3. Press the back arrow when completed (your attendees will be saved)
      6. Optional: Add notes to provide information about the meeting to attendees.
      7. Press Save.
    5. The meeting will now show in calendar.

    Options for Joining a Meeting

    1. Start an Instant Meeting (Meet Now).
    2. Join a meeting from a calendar.
    3. Join by entering the meeting ID number.

    Meet Now - Start Instant Meeting

    1. Press Join Options.

    2. Press Meet Now.

    3. Press Join Meeting.

    4. You will join automatically and the meeting will appear on screen.

    Join Meeting from Calendar

    Joining from calendar will automatically put the user into the meeting without entering a meeting number or passcode. If the user is the moderator of the meeting, then they will enter the meeting as the host. If they are not the moderator, then they will automatically enter as a participant. Note: Only BlueJeans meetings will show in the calendar.

    1. Click on a meeting listed on the schedule to join.

    2. Press Join Meeting.

    3. You will join automatically on the One Talk app BlueJeans screen.

    Join Meeting with ID

    Use this method to join when someone has provided you with their meeting ID.

    1. Press Join Options.

    2. Press Join with Meeting ID.

    3. Enter Meeting ID and Passcode (if required), then press Next.

    4. Press Join Meeting once you're ready to enter.

    5. You will join the meeting automatically.

    View BlueJeans Meeting Participants

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Join a meeting.
    4. While in a meeting, tap on the meeting title to show the list of attendees.

    Drop BlueJeans Meeting Participants from Meeting

    This feature is available for moderators only.

    1. Navigate to view participants.
    2. Press on the additional options icon (three dots) next to the participant's name.

    3. Select Drop Participant at the bottom of the screen in the dialog box.

    Invite Participants During Meeting

    1. Before other attendees join the meeting, the option to share info is shown prominently on the screen. Press Share Info for options to share with participants.

    2. During a meeting, press the options icon on the bottom of the screen.

    3. Press Invite to share meeting details.

    4. Select from the following options to share:
      1. Copy the URL to paste it into another application to share.
      2. Send Message: Send meeting information using One Talk Messaging.
      3. Send Email: Opens up default email with meeting information to share.

  6. BlueJeans Meeting Chat

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Join a meeting.
    4. Press on the screen to show meeting controls if not already visible.

    5. Press on the chat icon in upper right corner.

    6. Chat will default to "Everyone", which sends and shows messages to all meeting participants.

    7. Click on the person icon to select a private chat with an attendee.

    8. Select an attendee to start a new chat.

    9. To send a message, type in the box and press Send.

  7. Share Screen in BlueJeans Meeting

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Join a meeting.

    4. Press the options icon.

    5. Press Share Screen from the Main options.

    6. Press Start Broadcast on your phone.

    7. A confirmation that the screen is being shared will show in the app.

    8. Change to any other open app or home screen to show your phone's screen.
    9. When finished, return to One Talk and press Stop Sharing.
    10. Confirm on your phone by pressing Stop Broadcast.

    11. There will be an indicator in the top left corner of the meeting screen for all participants that the meeting is recording.

  8. BlueJeans Bandwidth Management in Meeting

    One Talk allows you to manage what is displayed in your meeting which can be helpful in lower bandwidth or traveling conditions.

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Join a meeting.
    4. If options for bandwidth management aren't visible, tap on the screen to show options.
    5. Select between Standard, Low Data and Commute mode.

      • Standard Mode: This is the default mode on joining a BlueJeans Meeting, and you will receive Video, Audio, and Content.
      • Low Data mode: Audio and Content only. You will not receive or send a video.
      • Commute Mode: Audio-only mode. You will not receive or send video and content.

  9. Record BlueJeans Meeting

    A user must join the meeting as the moderator to record a meeting.

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Join a meeting.

    4. Press the options icon.

    5. Press Start Rec in Main options.

    6. The icon will change color and there will be an audible notification that the recording is beginning.

    7. There will be an indicator on the top left corner of the meeting screen for all participants that the meeting is recording.

  10. Leave BlueJeans Meeting

    Leave Meeting as a Moderator

    A meeting moderator has more options available than a guest by having the option to choose if attendees can continue after the moderator has dropped.

    1. Open the One Talk mobile app.
    2. Navigate to the BlueJeans Meetings section.
    3. Join a meeting.

    4. Press the End Meeting icon.

    5. Select from the available options to leave the meeting.

      • Leave Meeting: This allows the moderator to leave the meeting while allowing all other participants to continue until the last participant has left the meeting.
      • End in 15 Minutes: This allows the moderator to leave the meeting while allowing all other participants to continue for 15 minutes or until the last participant has left the meeting, whichever comes first.
      • End Meeting for Everyone: This option ends the meeting for everyone immediately.

    Leave Meeting as a Guest

    When on an active meeting, press the end meeting icon to leave immediately.
