Starting today, new FiOS TV or FiOS Internet customers (including existing customers who add new service to their existing account) will receive a free LG G Pad 8.3 LTE, or receive up to $200 off any other tablet available from Verizon Wireless when obtaining a new, two-year agreement.
The tablet offer, available for FiOS orders placed through July 19 and installed by August 20, includes FiOS bundle or stand-alone orders. The offer does not require a FiOS contract, but does require the tablet be activated on the Verizon Wireless network.
After ordering a new FiOS service, customers will receive a certificate for a LG G Pad 8.3 LTE tablet within 30
days of the FiOS installation. Customers can then redeem the certificate and pick up the tablet at Verizon Wireless Communications stores before Sept. 30. Customers interested in a data-only plan can select plans starting as low as $30 per month that includes 2 GB data allowance and the monthly access charge.

Reviews of the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE have been highly favorable. CNET called it “zippy” and “reliable”; Engadget described it as “slim, attractive and well built”; and ZDNet billed it as a “gorgeous Android tablet and handy smartphone companion.”
