It’s a great time to double up on three things you love: speed, reliability and mobility.

Starting today, new FiOS TV or FiOS Internet customers (including existing customers who add new service to their existing account) will receive a free LG G Pad 8.3 LTE, or receive up to $200 off any other tablet available from Verizon Wireless when obtaining a new, two-year agreement.

The tablet offer, available for FiOS orders placed through July 19 and installed by August 20, includes FiOS bundle or stand-alone orders. The offer does not require a FiOS contract, but does require the tablet be activated on the Verizon Wireless network.

After ordering a new FiOS service, customers will receive a certificate for a LG G Pad 8.3 LTE tablet within 30140519 Twonetworks days of the FiOS installation. Customers can then redeem the certificate and pick up the tablet at Verizon Wireless Communications stores before Sept. 30. Customers interested in a data-only plan can select plans starting as low as $30 per month that includes 2 GB data allowance and the monthly access charge.

Favorable Reviews for LG G Pad

Reviews of the LG G Pad 8.3 LTE have been highly favorable. CNET called it “zippy” and “reliable”; Engadget described it as “slim, attractive and well built”; and ZDNet billed it as a “gorgeous Android tablet and handy smartphone companion.”

Tablets have helped fuel the dramatic growth of Internet connected devices in the U.S. In the past year alone, tablet penetration in the country has risen from 20 to 29 percent according to some industry reports, and risen from single digits to more than 40 percent in the past four years according to others. One national report also suggests that as many as 36 percent of all smart phone owners in the U.S. also now own a tablet.

The love affair with smart phones and tablets shows no sign of slowing down either, as a large base of consumers surveyed by various research firms indicate plans to purchase both a smart phone and tablet within the next three months.

While the majority of all tablet users spend time on their mobile device to check email, play games, read e-books and engage in social media, there’s a rising amount of time being spent by consumers listening to music, watching sports, and streaming pay TV shows and events.

Whether you already have your own tablet, there’s surely more you, a friend, or family member can do with a new LG G Pad 8.3 LTE in your collection of digital devices. To learn more about this exclusive offer, visit www.verizon.com/tabletoffer.
