We've partnered with the wonderful ladies at the Des Moines Moms Blog to host a holiday photo contest for a chance to win a new Samsung Galaxy Tab 2! Here are the details:
- We’ve set up a special Flickr group just for your photos. To join the group, set up a free Flickr account and join the group pool.
- Snap photos with your smartphone. All editing must be done on the phone, as well.
- Upload the photos to your Flickr account. You can use the official Flickr app, UpFlickr, Instagram, or any other uploader. *In the photo description, be sure to use #VZWHoliday.
- Later, when you’re relaxing in front of your computer, log in to your Flickr account and add those great holiday photos to the group pool by visiting the group page and clicking the “add photos” link.
- One of the best things about Flickr is that you can share directly to Twitter and Facebook - so share those photos with friends! After adding your photo to the group, share it and remember to add #VZWHoliday to complete your contest entry.
- You can enter as many photos as you like. Snap away! The more photos you enter, the more chances you have to win!
Here are the rules:
- You must be an Iowa resident.
- Must be 18 years old or older to enter.
- Picture must be taken from and edited on a mobile phone.
- Must be a holiday scene.
- You may enter as many different photos as you wish, as often as you like.
- All photos become property of DMMB and will be shared via Twitter and Facebook.
- Winning photos will be provided to Verizon Wireless for promotional purposes.
- Contributors of DMMB are not eligible to win.
- Pictures should be family friendly. DMMB will review all pictures and remove anything that does not represent DMMB appropriately.
- You must have legal rights to the photo you are submitting.
- Winners will be chosen by the owners & contributors of Des Moines Moms Blog. All decisions are final.
- Contest runs Tuesday, December 4 through Tuesday, December 11. Winner(s) will be announced Friday, December 14 and prize will be delivered in time for Christmas!
- Flickr is in no way responsible for, or connected with, the Des Moines Moms Blog #VZWHoliday contest.
