HBO, Cinemax, and SHOWTIME Free Previews Begin January 9

While many FiOS TV customers enjoy premium channels, we understand that not all have them. That’s why we periodically offer previews of select networks to give customers a sneak peek at the hit series and movies that others are passionately talking about.

From Jan. 9-12, customers who are not subscribed to HBO® and Cinemax®; and from Jan. 9-11, SHOWTIME®, can find out what all the fuss is about – for free.
HBO is the home of wildly popular series like Game of Thrones, VEEP and The Leftovers. During the free period, FiOS TV explorers will have access to any shows airing  on HBO & Cinemax On Demand. They can also check out the new season premieres of Girls, Looking, and the series premiere of Togetherness.  Likewise, Cinemax will feature the first of the new season for Banshee, now in its third year. Customers can find these opportunities and more on channels 400–431 SD and 899–931 HD.

SHOWTIME® will offer the new season firsts for Shameless, House of Lies and Episodes on Jan. 11. And of course, SHOWTIME® is the home of favorite hit shows like Homeland, Penny Dreadful and Dexter, to name a few, and anything airing or On Demand will be available to watch FREE. Customer can also access ShowtimeAnytime.com for free by using their FiOS TV login and ID. Customers will find channels 365-391 SD, 865-887 HD open all weekend!

If you think a full year of HBO®, Cinemax® or SHOWTIME® at 50 percent off sounds like a good deal – well, it is. Take some time to experience the great programming on these networks during the free offering. If you like one or all, contact Verizon FiOS by visiting http://www.verizon.com/home/MLP/Premium.html or tune to channel 860 and follow the prompts to take advantage of these 50-percent-off deals.

And by the way, once you’ve set yourself up for great shows in 2015, consider adding FiOS Quantum TV to maximize both your recording and your program storage capabilities.  Just sayin’…
