Filled with anticipation and excitement, over 400 children, teens and adults poured into the Holabird Academy in Baltimore to kick off Christmas at a holiday cultural festival this month.  The Southeast Neighborhood Development Corporation (SEND) hosts this annual event, which has grown in attendance each year.

 Verizon employees were on hand to give out backpacks, tote bags, note pads and pens among other items.

Employee Christmas 2“At Verizon, we are committed to giving back to the community and welcomed the opportunity to support SEND and area residents,” said Tabb Bishop, Verizon’s vice president of state government affairs for the mid-Atlantic region.  “It was great seeing the smiles on so many faces and to know that we were making a difference by brightening someone’s day.”
