Indianapolis area charities earned $1,000 grant donations from Verizon after a friendly celebrity competition led by Colts players Pierre Garcon and Adam Vinatieri in the Verizon Training Ground at the Super Bowl 46 NFL Experience.

Media players were represented by WTHR, Fox59, WRTV and WISH. Other Indiana celebrities included the Indiana Fever’s Tamika Catchings, “Survivor” reality show TV star Rupert Boneham and Indiana Pacemates.

Teams jumped through a simulated obstacle course, tossed footballs through targets, performed a touchdown dance and used NFL Mobile for a trivia test. No team lost in our friendly competition because each team earned $1,000 grants for the Little Red Door Cancer Agency and the Kaleidescope Youth Center.
