As Halloween approaches, Verizon FiOS TV is ready for one of America's favorite holidays - with high-definition how-to videos from Howcast on Video on Demand (VOD).  FiOS families can find all kinds of ideas, from making costumes to checking kids' candy, and a wide variety of other Howcast expert tips.

There are great ideas for easy-to-make costumes, including vampires, cowboys, pirates and ghosts.  Subscribers to FiOS TV can check out "How To Make a Werewolf Costume" - Part 1 and Part 2 - and "How To Make a Where the Wild Things Are Children's Halloween Costume."

Every trick-or-treater will want to look at "How To Get The Most Halloween Candy," and parents will want to view "How To Check Your Kids' Halloween Candy," with a few simple precautions to make sure the goodies are really good.  Other Halloween videos now available from Howcast for FiOS TV subscribers cover how to carve a pumpkin or to tell a ghost story.  The how-to videos are available at no extra charge.

The Halloween tips are among hundreds of Howcast videos on FiOS TV Video on Demand, which are available by simply pressing the "VOD" or "On Demand" button on the FiOS remote control, by using the menu on FiOS TV's Interactive Media Guide, or by selecting the VOD channel.
