2012 has brought us unseasonably warm temperatures, but fall is here with the promise of cooler temps, beautiful leaves, fashionable scarves and all the things we love most about the autumn months.

Below are a few apps to help make the transition to fall an easy one:

Wardrobe Transition: It’s time to pack up the flip-flops and tank tops to make room for the sweaters and boots, but making the switch is a cinch with the Stylebook closet organizing app, $3.99 on Apple. Stylebook allows users to create a closet inventory by importing photos of your actual clothing items and organizing them by category. From there, you can save style inspirations, plan out your wardrobe with a digital calendar or even pack a virtual bag for traveling.

Car Maintenance: Fall is the perfect time to prepare your vehicle for the colder months, but you don’t want to rely on memory alone to track your activity. Let your smartphone or tablet do all the work with the Car Maintenance Reminder Pro, free on Android. This app will send you reminders when your vehicle is due for an oil change, fluid top-off, tire rotation or other service. It will even track your fuel efficiency.

Lawn Care: Fall lawn care is essential if you want to reap the benefits of a lush, green yard next year. Lawn Maintenance Calendar on Apple ($.99) provides tips and calendar reminders on when to fertilize, weed and water.

Do you use other fall apps to help you transition from the hot to cool season?
