Here is a brief look at the DownEast itinerary
- Start in coastal town of Machias sampling the freshest ingredients available along the coast
- Take a tour through Lubec, the easternmost city in the contiguous United States – with a hike and activities in Roque Bluffs and Quoddy Head state parks, and sampling local brews from Lubec Brewing Company
- Pick fresh blueberries at Welch Farm in Roque Bluffs and bake a fresh blueberry pie at renowned Helen’s Restaurant
- End with a culinary tour in Bar Harbor for a generous serving of local history, fun facts and fare
