Recently we played Santa and asked local bloggers, including tech enthusiasts, lifestyle bloggers and fashion writers, what holiday tech is on their wish lists this season.
From tablets to speakers here are the gifts they hope to find under the tree this year:

“Being an Android fanatic, the two devices for which I'm most excited this season are the Nexus 6 and Nexus 9, mostly because they both run Android 5.0 Lollipop out of the box. I'm also excited for the unconventional sizes of the displays on both devices, 6 and 9-inch displays seem very interesting. Overall, I'm very excited to see what kind of devices result from the direction Google is pointing the industry.”

“I know EXACTLY what I want from Verizon this holiday season. I have been drooling over everyone else's iPads for years. I bought a cheap tablet to carry around with me so that I could update my blog on the go, but it was a little bit too small, didn't have enough features, and it's nearly impossible to find a case that can fit it. I'm a Mac, so I need a tablet like the iPad Air 2 that syncs effortlessly with my phone and computer. Also, the rest of my list is pretttttty much Kate Spade. “It's so funny you asked what is on my wish list because I was just telling my mom how I already have compiled a wish list on Evernote and right at the top of my list is a fitness band! Even though there are so many great wireless tech options out there, I would LOVE a Jawbone UP24. Recently, I've rededicated myself to being more active and eating better, but I find that I need more accountability. Since I sit in front of a computer for an overwhelming majority of the day, I recognize the need for a motivational tool to get me up and moving, away from my desk. I love that you can track your stats, monitor your sleep habits, and even program the band to gently encourage you with a buzz to get up after a certain period of time. I've seen positive results from my friends who have a Jawbone and I am looking forward to a healthier and more intentional lifestyle."

“I have recently started back up my lifelong reading habit—on pause for a few years after I had kids—and my five-year-old Kindle has officially bit the bullet. That's why at the top of my holiday wish list is the new Fire HD 6. Not only is the new Fire an affordable tablet (less than $100), it pairs nicely with our family's Amazon Prime account. I want to be able to use it for reading novels on long flights for work trips or in bed before I fall asleep. But I can also watch movies and TV shows, let my kids play games (and control how much screen time they get) and stay connected to email and social media while I'm watching TV.”
