Bell Atlantic Mobile Opens New Communications Store In White Marsh

Grand Opening Activities May 16 and 17

BALTIMORE -- White Marsh is home to Bell Atlantic Mobile's newest
Communications Store. Located in The Avenue at White Marsh, this is the
company's 26th retail location in the Washington/Baltimore area.

The company is hosting a Grand Opening Celebration Weekend
May 16 and 17. Festivities will include live radio station remote broadcasts
with contests and prizes by MIX 106.5 and WXYV 102.7, food catered by
Phillips Seafood Grill, and various family-oriented activities.

The new 2200 square-foot store, which is next to Loew's Movie
Theater, is a cellular and paging sales and service store, employing 10
people.

"The Avenue is a bustling, centrally-located shopping area, so it's a
great location for our newest store," said Bell Atlantic Mobile Regional
President Gary Schulman. "People in the Baltimore area have really
embraced cellular communications. They're using it to manage busy family
lives, to have on hand in case of emergencies, and to increase work
productivity. The demand for our service grows every year, so we're
reaching out with new store locations that are convenient to you our
customers."

People visiting the new White Marsh Bell Atlantic Mobile
Communications Store will find digital and analog cellular phones, pagers
and accessories. On hand are specially-trained staff members who can help
determine which cellular or paging services will fit customers'
communications needs.

The White Marsh Bell Atlantic Communications Store is located at
8149 Honeygo Boulevard. The phone number is 410-933-3900. The store
hours are 10am to 9pm Mondays through Saturdays, and noon to 6pm
Sundays.

The store manager is Bob Milton, who joined Bell Atlantic Mobile
two years ago as an assistant manager.
