Bell Atlantic Mobile Is In The Zone
Wireless Zone Debuts in Philadelphia Market;
Dozen Area Stores Slated for 1999

PHILADELPHIA - - Bell Atlantic Mobile said that it will be the exclusive
service provider for Wireless Zone, the nation's largest independent
wireless agent, which makes its debut into the Philadelphia Tri-State
Region this month.
Through this exclusive affiliation with Bell Atlantic Mobile, Wireless
Zone plans to open a dozen stores in 1999 with the first store openings
planned in Mount Laurel, N.J. and Feasterville, Pa.
Bell Atlantic Mobile also provides wireless service through its 28
company-owned Communications Stores and 300 plus independent
retailers in the Philadelphia region, which covers southern New Jersey,
southeastern Pennsylvania and Delaware.

provides yet another convenient, high-quality retail option for our
customers and expands our already large presence throughout the region,"
said John Stratton, president of Bell Atlantic Mobile's Philadelphia Tri-
State region.
Wireless Zone's franchiser, the Connecticut-based Automotive
Technologies Inc., is a leading wireless retailer in the Northeast with more
than 90 stores in seven states. In 1998, Automotive Technologies Inc. was
named the number one wireless communications franchise in the nation by
Entrepreneur Magazine.
