Bell Atlantic Network Integration Names Vincent Costello President

FRAZER, Pa. - Bell Atlantic Network Integration (BANI),
a subsidiary
of Bell Atlantic Corp. (NYSE: BEL), today announced that Vincent
Costello has been named president. Costello, 40, replaces Jack Sweeney
who has left the company to pursue other interests.
"With 15 years of industry experience, Vin brings extensive
knowledge
and skills to BANI," said Bell Atlantic Large Business Services

Murray. "The merger of Bell Atlantic and NYNEX promises

perfect person to help BANI make a smooth transition into this new

Costello comes to BANI from NYNEX, where his most recent
accomplishments included creating and directing NYNEX's Network
Integration Division. Costello also has served as vice president of
NYNEX Custom Network Solutions, a $400 million line of business that
delivers custom voice, data and video services. In that capacity, he
was responsible for significant financial and productivity
improvements. Prior to that assignment, he directed and managed the
marketing efforts aimed at NYNEX customers in Manhattan, a $1.2
billion market.
