Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile Launces Family Plan in South Carolina
Greenville, SC -- Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile today announced its
new
Family Plan which allows customers to place two cellular phones on a
single account for a discounted monthly service fee. The plan also
includes a monthly pool of airtime that either phone can draw from.
Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile is the first cellular carrier in the
Carolinas to offer a rate plan with these features according to Kecia
Russell-Burkart, marketing manager for Bell Atlantic NYNEX Mobile's
Southeast region.
"The Family Plan offers customers the benefit of a second cellular
phone at significantly less cost," said Russell-Burkart. "With
this
plan, families and small businesses can double the elements of
convenience, safety, and productivity that cellular phones afford,
without doubling monthly service charges or adding a second set of
start-up costs."
The plan also includes call forwarding, allowing customers to be
reached at either of the account's phones through a single contact
number.
The Family Plan is available to new and existing customers in
Abbeville, Anderson, Cherokee, Edgefield, Greenville, Greenwood,
Laurens, McCormick, Newberry, Oconee, Pickens, Saluda, Spartanburg,
and Union counties in South Carolina. Family Plan features a pool of
70 minutes included each month, for a monthly service fee as low as
$44.99.
In a special promotion, customers signing up for an annual contract on
the Family Plan will receive a two for one phone deal, the first
month's service charge free through February 29, and other incentives.
