TO BALTIMORE BUSINESSES

RESTON, VA -- Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions is now
taking orders
for its high-speed, dedicated access service that can connect
Baltimore area businesses to the Internet. Also available are a set of
services to help businesses establish a professional presence on the
World Wide Web, including Web site production, hosting and security
services.
Bell Atlantic already offers these services in the Washington, D.C.,
area, and they are slated for introduction in Roanoke, Va,
Philadelphia, northern New Jersey, Pittsburgh and Norfolk, Va, between
now and the end of the year.

- SMDS -- switched multimegabit data service optimizes the
efficiency
of a business' local area network by providing access to the
Internet at variable access classes: 56 kilobits per second (Kbps)
and 1.5, 4, 10, 16, 25 and 34 megabits per second (Mbps); - Frame relay service -- uses packet switching to provide
customers
all the benefits of a private line without the high cost, at speeds
of 56 Kbps and 1.5 Mbps; - Digital private line -- provides point-to-point Internet
communications for businesses with intensive data needs at rates
ranging from 56 Kbps to 1.5 Mbps."Prices for these services will be extremely competitive,"

name registration, Class C Internet address, routing service and mail
relay service. Customers will also have Usenet news group access, news

Web hosting, custom and template Web site design, security,
installation, support and training. The shared Web hosting service
offers a flat monthly rate starting at $50, depending on computer data
storage needs, free technical support, domain name registration and
