Shop Here! features electronic commerce links

BOSTON -- Good news arrived today for consumers who would prefer to jump onto
their computers rather than into their cars to buy something.

As of today, there's one place consumers can go on the Internet to find a
comprehensive list of merchants who sell products and services on-line. That place
is the new Shop Here! section within BigYellow(SM), America's leading on-line shopping
directory (bigyellow.com).

Shop Here! provides consumers with direct links to the 50 best web sites of
retailers that sell products and services on-line. From the comfort of their homes
or the convenience of their offices, shoppers can easily and securely purchase such
things as clothes, books, travel accommodations, flowers, computer software, and
lots of "below-cost" merchandise.

Eight national retailers who are proving the value of electronic commerce
are charter advertisers on Shop Here! They are L.L. Bean(R), Microsoft Expedia(R),
Andy's Garage Sale, flowerlink, Parsons Technologies, J.C. Penney, New England Circuit
and Amazon.com. These retailers will be featured on a banner ad on the BigYellow
home page.

A comprehensive on-line advertising campaign to help announce Shop Here! begins
today on a number of the most popular sites on the Web, including Infoseek(R) and
Yahoo!(TM).

The Shop Here! feature is part of a new Shopping section within BigYellow
where consumers can find other useful links to help them make informed purchasing
decisions.

Other features of the new Shopping section include a link to REALMalls, the
best shopping mall site on the World Wide Web, and a Catalogs page that provides
direct links to some of the best and most comprehensive sites offering on-line shopping
catalogs for a wide variety of merchandise, including music, food, wine, computers,
and even industrial products.

Another new feature is a "Shop BigYellow" page where consumers can
choose from popular shopping categories, like book dealers, golf equipment and women's
apparel, and get listings of all local businesses in those categories.

With more advertisers than all other on-line directories combined, and nearly
2 million visitors each month, BigYellow continues to lead the on-line shopping industry
in sales and usage. Having developed electronic directory services for more than
