Special program offers calling services for 99 cents
GTE offers a range of calling services for 99 cents each for the first month of service during its "Look to GTE Now" program.
IRVING, Texas - For less than $1, GTE customers nationwide can test drive a range of advanced calling services. The multi-million dollar "Look to GTE Now" marketing campaign includes a such calling services as call waiting, caller ID and voice mail for 99 cents each for the first month.
The campaign's offer will be available to all GTE customers through the end of October. Irving-based Temerlin McClain produced the campaign.
"This is an easy way for our customers to experience first-hand the ease and convenience of these services, whether they're used for work or play," said Rick Crain, vice president-marketing programs for GTE. "We're putting the power of advanced telecommunications into the hands of our customers so that they can get more from their phone."
GTE customers may subscribe to one or more of the calling services featured for 99 cents each for the first month of service, without an activation fee. After the first month, the regular price goes into effect. The offer is good for new residential subscriptions, and customers can order different services throughout the promotion.
