NYNEX Employees Receive Professional Degrees
ALBANY, NY -- NYNEX announced today that 11 members of its Corporate
Real Estate Department have been granted professional degrees
by the Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI).
BOMI is a non-profit organization formed in 1970 to provide continuing
education in the complex issues involved in the administration
of real property. The employees received Facilities Management
Administrator (FMA) and Real Property Administrator (RPA) professional
designations.
These designations indicate that the recipients have completed
a program of study dealing with the ownership, management and
operation of major office and commercial buildings. Seven required
courses in each degree program provide in-depth coverage of building
systems, life-cycle costing, energy management and the environment,
insurance and legal issues, accounting, finance and asset management.
