DENVER - For the second consecutive year, Verizon Avenue is the winner of Broadband Properties' Cornerstone Award for Broadband Provider of the Year. The award is given in recognition of excellence in providing broadband service to multifamily communities.

"We were impressed with Verizon Avenue's willingness to go the extra mile in partnering with multifamily property owners and managers to provide exceptional customer service," said Joel Schofield, executive editor, Broadband Properties Magazine. "These challenging times require creative solutions to meet residents' needs for superior service at competitive prices. Verizon Avenue came through for the industry again with creative solutions."

Cornerstone Award winners are based on nominations made in four categories and judged by a committee of industry leaders, analysts and writers for service performed in the past 12 months. The award winners were announced yesterday at Broadband Properties' Annual Summit in Denver.

By offering excellent customer service and value-added broadband amenities, we can help property owners, managers and real estate investment trusts increase the value of their multifamily communities," said William F. Wallace, chief executive officer, Verizon Avenue. "Our team deserves a lot of credit for their continued commitment to quality service and creative solutions."

Verizon Avenue sells its popular bundles two ways -- on an individual basis to multi-family community residents or to property owners who can buy the service in bulk as an amenity and offer it to all residents.
