BASKING RIDGE, N.J. - To help foster innovation in storage networking and encourage the development of new products and services to meet customers' data storage needs, Verizon Business today announced it has joined the Storage Networking Industry Association (SNIA).
As a member of the association, Verizon Business will help to address critical issues in the technical standards and interoperability of storage networks, provide insight into emerging trends in data management, and promote best-practice scenarios for corporate leadership and IT managers.
"The SNIA serves as the industry catalyst for the development of storage solutions and standards," said Nancy Gofus, Verizon Business vice president of product management. "Verizon Business' involvement in the SNIA underscores our focus on helping companies store and manage increasing amounts of data that are essential to running their business."
The association also acts as a global forum for technology companies to join together in the development and marketing of open storage networking solutions to advance the accessibility, reliability and security of data worldwide.
