Verizon FiOS1 in New Jersey to Air 19 New Jersey State Football Championships

NEWARK, N.J. – High school football fans will be able to watch the New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association state football championships - exclusively on FiOS1 on Verizon's FiOS TV service.
Through Verizon's partnership with the Star Ledger/NJ.com, FiOS1 Channel 1 will air replays of all 19 championship games, starting with Bergen Catholic vs. Paramus Catholic on Wednesday (Dec. 12) at 7:30 p.m. All FiOS1 viewers in central and northern New Jersey will have access to the programming.
"FiOS1 will allow fans of high school football to relive the biggest games of the year," said Orlando Martinez, FiOS1's director of local sports programming. "Bringing high school sports programming like this on FiOS1 to our FiOS TV customers is a good example of why our customers continue to enjoy a broad range of programming choices they can only get from a provider like Verizon."
FiOS1 will air the NJSIAA football games on the following dates and times:
- Bergen Catholic vs. Paramus Catholic - Dec. 12 at 7:30 p.m.
- Hoboken vs. Roselle Park - Dec. 13 at 7:30 p.m.
- Elizabeth vs. Piscataway - Dec. 14 at 7:30 p.m.
- Warren Hills vs. West Morris - Dec. 15 at 7:30 p.m.
- St. Joseph Montvale vs. Delbarton - Dec. 15 at 10 p.m.
- Manalapan vs. South Brunswick - Dec. 16 at noon.
- Sayreville vs. Middletown South - Dec. 16 at 2:30 p.m.
- Shore Regional vs. Florence - Dec. 17 at 7:30 p.m.
- Neptune vs. Nottingham - Dec. 18 at 7:30 p.m.
- St. Joseph (Hammonton) vs. St. Mary - Dec 19 at 7:30 p.m.
- Immaculata vs. Holy Spirit - Dec. 20 at 7:30 p.m.
- Madison vs. Mountain Lakes - Dec. 21 at 7:30 p.m.
- New Milford vs. Kinnelon - Dec. 22 at 4:00 p.m.
- Pascack Valley vs. Roxbury - Dec. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
- Carteret vs. Weequahic - Dec. 22 at 10 p.m.
- Montclair vs. Bloomfield - Dec. 23 at 9:30 a.m.
- Cedar Grove vs. Pompton Lakes - Dec. 23 at noon.
- Palisades Park vs. Summit - Dec. 23 at 2:30 p.m.
- Ramapo vs. Sparta - Dec. 24 at 7:30 p.m.
The football games also will be available on FiOS TV's video-on-demand service in the FiOS1 Local Zone folder. In addition, FiOS1 will replay the high school girls soccer finals group IV on Dec. 15 at 4 p.m.
