Verizon - Largest Directory Publisher - Introduces Greater Boca Raton SuperPages as Part of Nationwide Expansion

BOCA RATON, Fla. - The Boca Raton area was chosen as one of more than 20 competitive markets Verizon SuperPages, the world's largest publisher of telephone directories, has selected to introduce its yellow pages directories. In November, Verizon distributed more than 220,000 SuperPages telephone directories to Greater Boca Raton area residents and businesses.

Local Content and Features

The Greater Boca Raton SuperPages has a localized cover featuring Mizner Park. A Community Magazine with a golf course guide and a Dining Your Way! Restaurant Guide spotlighting 44 area restaurants are included in the directory. The restaurant guide includes an A-Z index, menus and maps. "Area residents and visitors love to eat out and the Dining Your Way! guide is a very helpful, easy-to-use feature," said Billings.

Boca Raton-area shoppers and businesses also have access to the country's #1 online directory and shopping resource, SuperPages.com, as well as the most comprehensive national Spanish-language online directory - SuperPages.com en Español (SuperPages.com/espanol). Both sites have local and national content. Currently, Boca Raton receives more than 506,000 searches annually on SuperPages.com.

A new, online university search feature available on SuperPages.com, Campus Area Yellow Pages, provides college-specific information ranging from local merchants to campus maps for more than 700 colleges, including Nova Southeastern University and Florida Atlantic University.
