EVERETT, Wash. - During the holidays, Whidbey Island residents can shop for phone products and services at a Verizon Phone Mart Express store, which will be open for their convenience during the holiday season on the island.

The store opens Monday at 60 SE 8th in Oak Harbor. Hours of operation will be 10 a.m. - 4 p.m., Monday-Friday through Dec. 28.

The Phone Mart Express store will have an extensive selection of novelty, home office and cordless phones; wireless packages, calling services and Internet options.

"We are thrilled to be able to offer this service to customers on the Island," said Loretta Salazar, Verizon manager of the Burlington Phone Mart store. "Many products we will feature in this store would make great Christmas gifts. The staff in the store also will be available to help them with their phone service and answer any questions."

While they are in the store, customers can get free "bill tune-ups" and account analysis to determine whether they may want to take advantage of discount or package plans. Any customer who requests a bill tune-up will get a free gift.

This is the second year Verizon has opened a Phone Mart Express at this location for the holiday season.
