Update 11/30:
BASKING RIDGE, NJ - Companies around the globe were thrust into a situation where their traditional in-office workforce turned virtual in what seemed like an instant due to COVID-19. Getting a new remote employee base up-and-running from an operational standpoint was just the tip of the iceberg. How to effectively manage teams in this new normal, for many leaders, was, and still is a foreign concept. Leaders are learning new ways to foster “team” work and manage a virtual workforce. For leaders utilizing virtual workers for the first time, these skills are a new muscle that can be activated in order to execute work efficiently and connect at levels that may have seemed unimportant in a traditional command-and-control work environment.

Update 10/7:
BASKING RIDGE, NJ - As retailers start to reopen across the country, they face a drastically different shopping landscape, forcing them to shift the way they conduct business in order to succeed. Consumers are adapting to this new normal, and given the length of time we’ve been in the pandemic, it is possible that these behavioral changes could be permanently etched into the psyche of shoppers. Buy Online, Pick-up In-Store (BOPIS), as an example, has caused some retailers to transform their storefronts into distribution and fulfillment centers. This convenience, coupled with touchless payment, may now be part of an assumed brand value proposition for consumers going forward.
