In the TalkAlong EXPRESS personal communications package, customers receive a voice-activated, micro-portable Audiovox 405 phone for $149.00, a low monthly service rate of $18.99, a flat per minute rate of $.45 day or night, and the first minute free on all incoming calls. Customers who sign up for TalkAlong EXPRESS by April 5, 1997, will have the first three months of access waived, and will receive unlimited local night and weekend calling through Labor Day. Cellular long distance calls are an additional $.24 per minute. TalkAlong EXPRESS' enhanced features include the industry's most advanced voice activated dialing capability that lets customers automatically dial a number by simply speaking a name or phone number. The package also comes with 3-way calling, call waiting and call forwarding capabilities, as well as built-in electronic fraud protection.
