Verizon Wireless Messaging Services Announces Its iWrite 2-Way Messaging Service
DALLAS, TEXAS — Verizon Wireless Messaging Services announced today the launch of its iWrite wireless email service on the T900 2-way messaging device by Motorola (NYSE: MOT). The T900 enables users to send and receive wireless email messages, as well as receive up-to-date market, news, weather, sports, and horoscope information.
The T900 is a compact, flip-top device with a full QWERTY keyboard, lighted display and includes an address book that stores up to 250 entries.
The iWrite wireless email service by Verizon Wireless Messaging Services offers users the ability to customize the T900 device to send and receive text and Internet generated messages through www.MyAirMail.com . The web site allows you to personalize Internet messaging to a name, not just a number. Verizon Wireless Messaging Services provides this web site service to its customers at no additional monthly charge.
The MyAirMail.com web site allows users to receive as little or as much of a message as needed to control their budget. Messages are received up to 500 characters at a time, including sender and headers, with a maximum of 20,000 characters. In addition, iWrite provides users with 96-hours of assured message delivery.
Additional features of T900 include; automatic signature capability, separate folders to save important messages, built-in alarm clock, selective erase and error correction, privacy on demand and quiet mode settings.
Verizon Wireless Messaging Services is offering its iWrite service as part of its T900 package with airtime rates as low as $9.95 for local service and a nationwide SingleRate of $14.95.
