Gallegos has been part of the Verizon Wireless team for more than nine years holding various positions including indirect sales manager, branch director and general sales manager. Gallegos joined AirTouch Cellular in 1991 as a retail account executive in Denver, Colo.

"We are committed to providing simple, affordable wireless service to Arizona, New Mexico and Southern Nevada consumers," said Gallegos. "That is why we have recently launched our new Digital Plus Calling Plans that will enable our Desert Mountain region customers to travel throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Southern Nevada, California and Hawaii, and use their included anytime minutes to make and receive calls - free of roaming charges. On a national basis, Verizon Wireless is investing more than $3 billion to strengthen our coast-to-coast network, which will further expand the digital footprint and increase capacity for wireless voice and data services provided to the new company's more than 25 million customers. Our new calling plans and network investment are just two examples of how we are diligently working to meet the needs of our customers."
