Verizon Wireless Expands Digital Service In Bucks County

TREVOSE, PA — Verizon Wireless has expanded its digital wireless service in Bucks County with the addition of a new cell site with CDMA technology in North Hampton Township, Pennsylvania. The new site will improve digital wireless coverage along routes 332, 132, 263 and W. Bristol Road.

According to Hans Leutenegger, executive director of network for the Philadelphia Tri-State Region, the site will provide the wireless carrier's North Hampton Township subscribers with improved wireless coverage when making cellular calls across the region.

The new site is part of a $4 billion investment program this year to improve and extend the reach of the Verizon Wireless nationwide network. More than $100 million of that investment is being used to stay ahead of the growing demand for Verizon Wireless products and services in the Philadelphia Tri-State area.
