Clear Channel Entertainment provides the content for alerts directly to fans. The alerts are delivered to wireless handsets after users enable the service through Verizon Wireless' www.vtext.com simple-to-use TXT Messaging website. Vtext.com makes it easy to send messages to individuals and groups, and lets customers sign up for interesting and useful information alerts.
