SOUTHFIELD, MI — Verizon Wireless has named Scott Hacker associate director of finance for the Michigan/Indiana/Kentucky Region, effective immediately.
In his new role, Hacker manages the three-state region's budget and financial targets as well as supports the leadership team on all financial and business-related decisions. Additionally, he serves as the main contact point for the Region on all finance-related issues.
Hacker has been with Verizon Wireless since 1995, successfully handling positions of greater responsibility. Most recently, he was associate director of system conversions in Schaumburg, Illinois, where he supported all Midwest Area billing systems. Prior to joining the company, Hacker was a senior auditor for GTE Service Corporation in Carmel, Ind.
A resident of Troy, Hacker holds a B.S. in accounting from Indiana University.
