JACKSONVILLE, AR — In a continuing effort to provide the best wireless service in Arkansas, Verizon Wireless, the leading wireless company with the most reliable wireless voice and data network, has expanded its network with a new cell site. The new site increases coverage and capacity to the western portion of the Little Rock Air Force Base in Jacksonville, Arkansas.
"Many of the military personnel have been longtime customers of Verizon Wireless in other parts of the country and have experienced the reliability of our network first-hand," said Stephen Copley, district manager for Verizon Wireless in Arkansas and Oklahoma. "With our continued aggressive network expansions, we're bringing the same reliable network experience to more people and more places in Arkansas."
In the last several weeks, Verizon Wireless also expanded its network to cover Pine Bluff and Russellville, Arkansas. Earlier this year, the company launched its digital voice and high speed data network in Harrison, Arkansas.
Verizon Wireless, which serves 62.1 million customers nationwide, entered the Arkansas market in 2005.
