Essex County, New Jersey Families In Need Benefit From Saint Barnabas HopeLine® Cell Phone Recycling Drive

Bartiromo and External Affairs Vice President Louis LaSalle to present Verizon Wireless Regional President Pat Devlin with no-longer used cell phones collected during the Medical Center’s recent HopeLine® recycling drive. In recognition of the Medical Center’s efforts, Devlin presented the Foundation with a $2,500 HopeLine donation to benefit families impacted by domestic violence.
Verizon Wireless is a recognized corporate leader for its commitment to preventing domestic violence and raising awareness of the issue. Phones collected through HopeLine recycling drives are refurbished, recycled or sold and the proceeds are donated to domestic violence advocacy groups in the form of cash grants and prepaid wireless phones for survivors.
