WHAT: New video, “Tips for Traveling Overseas,” featuring Verizon Wireless representatives describing how customers can prepare their wireless phones for international travel and how to manage data usage outside of the United States. “Tips for Traveling Overseas” is the second in a series of videos advising customers on how to manage their wireless lives.

BACKGROUND: Verizon Wireless offers a number of ways for customers to stay connected around the globe. Customers using Verizon Wireless global phones and smartphones can make calls, text and use data services in more than 205 countries. In addition, all Verizon Wireless customers can use their existing phones and smartphones to make calls while visiting 40 countries worldwide including Mexico, Canada, China and India.
