Verizon Wireless Names Marion Nolan To Associate Director, Strategic Sales

LOUISVILLE, KY — Verizon Wireless has promoted Marion Nolan to associate director for strategic sales in Kentucky. Nolan is responsible for government relations, customer relations, and strategic and small-to-medium business sales, throughout the commonwealth.

Nolan began her career with a Verizon Wireless legacy company in 1991, and has been a business sales manager for the past 15 years, during which time she has helped recruit, train and develop Verizon Wireless sales personnel. She is a two-time winner of the Verizon Wireless President’s Cabinet award, an honor reserved for those ranking in the top 1 percent nationally in sales during the prior year. She is also a five-time Winner’s Circle recipient for exceeding both yearly sales and revenue objectives.

In addition, Nolan was one of just three Verizon Wireless employees nationwide selected this year for the company’s Great Place to Work campaign for her work on behalf of domestic violence prevention and survivor assistance. During Domestic Violence Awareness Month each October for the past decade in Kentucky, she has helped gather thousands of used phones for the HopeLine® from Verizon program, which turns no-longer-used phones into grants and other support for domestic violence prevention and treatment. Nolan also spearheaded the local Verizon Wireless campaign to gather nearly 200 books for a new library at the Center for Women & Families in Louisville (the library was made possible via a 2010 grant of $10,000 from the Verizon Foundation to the Jewish Women International’s National Library Initiative).

Prior to working with Verizon Wireless, Nolan worked in the banking industry. She resides in Louisville.
