According to the United Nations Population Fund, more than 214 million people live outside their country of origin. As the world’s population becomes more mobile, it is increasingly important for individuals to have the ability to connect with their family and friends in an affordable way. Verizon Wireless’ World Messaging Unlimited promotion makes it easier for customers to connect and save on calls made from within the United States to most of North and Central America and the Caribbean, as well as on messaging from the U.S. to most countries around the world.

With the new promotion, customers pay a $5 monthly access fee per line for an unlimited allowance for messages sent from the U.S. to countries around the world.  Consumers also receive a discounted rate of 1 cent per minute for calls made from the U.S. to landline and wireless phones in Mexico and Canada and 5 cents per minute on calls made from the U.S. to landlines and wireless phones in most Caribbean and Central American countries*.

Customers looking to save money and find the right international long distance plan for their needs can learn more about Verizon Wireless’ international long distance options.
