The new Droid Turbo 2 by Motorola won’t be available in stores until Thursday, October 29 but Verizon is giving customers a chance to own one on Wednesday. Why? It’s #WhyNotWednesday, bringing the best of the digital world to consumers each week.

This week’s #WhyNotWednesday brings ‘Droid Seeker’, a virtual scavenger hunt made available exclusively to Verizon customers. From Gamers to techies to mom’s hoping to get their hands on the phone with the shatterproof screen, the thrill of playing Droid Seeker will be (almost) as much fun as owning the new Droid Turbo 2. Droid Seeker has been designed for those willing to be challenged.

How to Play:

The game goes live Wednesday at noon EST. In order to play, customers must visit: whynotwednesday.com/droidseeker, enter their mobile telephone number and sign-in to Twitter.  Once gamers log in, they will be introduced to a city at night, built of concrete and glass.  They will have 30 seconds to search the city and its building to find one of the hidden Droid devices. If they find one, they simply tap on the Droid image and it’s theirs.  Each time a Droid device is found it disappears from the image until all 200 have been found.

The game is tough, but the phone is tougher.  With its shatterproof screen, 48-hour battery life, 21-megapixel camera and two-terabyte expandable memory, the Droid Turbo 2 was designed to overcome some of the biggest challenges for smartphone users.
