DENVER, CO — Calling, downloading apps and surfing the web on the Verizon Wireless network is now easier and faster for residents and travelers across the Centennial State thanks to several new cell sites that improve coverage and capacity, including:
- Centennial – neighborhoods surrounding Dry Creek Road and Holly Street
- Colorado Springs – neighborhoods east of I-25 and Hwy 83 in the Pine Creek High School area; also area surrounding and including Peterson Air Force Base
- Denver – area surrounding the intersection of Buckley and Mississippi Avenue
- Durango – city of Durango including Hwy 50 near New Mexico border
- Ft. Collins – neighborhoods in the area of E. Drake Road and S. Lemay Avenue
- Lafayette – along Hwy 287 and Baseline Road
- Morrison – south of I-70 including the town of Morrison and Bandimere Speedway Since being founded in 2000, Verizon Wireless has invested more than $1 billion in its Colorado network. Nationally, the company has invested more than $65 billion over that same period to increase the coverage and capacity of its network, and to add new services.
The network upgrades are part of the company’s ongoing investment to keep improving and strengthening the nation’s fastest and most reliable wireless network.
