Verizon is now the first tech company in the world to deliver Mobile Edge Computing (MEC) with our partner, Amazon Web Services (AWS). We're combining our 5G Ultra Wideband network with the world's leading cloud with the broadest and deepest services portfolio.
Verizon’s 5G Edge platform can provide single-digit millisecond latency that can enable everything from connected vehicles to automated manufacturing, AR/VR applications and more. We're already delivering MEC in Chicago for a group of customers including video game publisher Bethesda Softworks and the NFL.
And this is only the beginning. This is just the first step in Verizon’s MEC journey, so stay tuned for much more to come.
