Verizon trade ins are deceiving, very time consuming, and frustrating!

Verizon is a nightmare! Just upgraded to a new phone this weekend, and it already was disconnected from the network due to technical issues. Spent over an hour on the phone with technical support, and their phone disconnected probably a dozen times. We then had to install 3 different Sim cards. Went to the local Verizon store in Short Pump only for them to take the old phone with no damage and give me a receipt showing no trade in credit. They then said they couldn't fix it, and that I had to call a 1800 number. Of course, when I called the provided number, they were closed. Grrrrrrrr! Verizon is a huge disappointment, and I've been with them over 20 years. Strong chance that is about to change! This is the 2nd trade in a year that has resulted in major frustration, technical problems that nobody in the store can fix, and incorrectly applied credits.

Connections drop for no reason needing reboot

Connectivity issues have been a problem from very early in my 2 years owning an A54. The WiFi will sometimes multiple times in the same day lose Internet through WiFi even though it shows connected to the WiFi with good signal. Once this starts, switching networks isn't sufficient, it requires reboot. No other device in my house shows the Internet not working. Our house does have a mesh network so maybe that's what it can't handle. It also loses cellular connectivity occasionally and does not recover when exposed to sufficient signal strength. Again, a reboot is required. Maybe it could make a 911 call, but it has caused me to miss important calls and texts as you don't know it has happened without looking at the screen. A minor other problem is the modes that I have programmed don't always turn the ringer on and off as I have instructed. That can be embarrassing when it isn't off when it should be. It's good enough when fully working. My first, and probably last, Samsung product.
