    Apps Apps icon

    Battery
    then tap the
    Fast cable charging switch
to turn on Switch On icon.
  • Ensure the cable is inserted correctly into the charging base for optimal performance.
  • Battery life depends on the network, signal strength, temperature, features and accessories used.
  • It's common for batteries to be warm from use or charging.
  • Use only manufacturer-approved chargers.
  • Some heat is anticipated and perfectly normal, though the phone should not become too warm to handle comfortably.
  • The Galaxy Note9 supports Adaptive Fast Charging, and therefore is likely to get warm during charging. This is expected, especially if the device is being operated while it is charging. If the device gets warm during normal use, see the tips above.
  1. Use the provided Samsung wall charger then wait at least 1-2 mins to allow the device to charge.
  2. If the device doesn't seem to charge with the provided AC charger, connect the provided USB cable to a different AC charger (if available). If the device charges under this configuration, the provided AC charger needs to be replaced.
