Windows 10 - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change, enable or disable the SIM card lock code on your Windows 10.
Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered. If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to Locating the 4G SIM PIN/PUK - My Verizon Website to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From the Home screen, navigate:

    Verizon Connection Manager

  2. Tap or click
    Device Information
    .
    If not available, tap the
    Dropdown menu
    located at the top then tap
    Device Information
    .
Expand All
  1. Tap
    Sim Lock
    .
  2. From the "SIM Lock" section, tap or click the
    SIM Lock switch
    to turn on (enable) or off (disable).
    Depending upon personalization options, the switch color may differ from the example depicted above.
  3. From the "Enter Pin Lock Number" field, enter the current Pin code then tap or click
    lock
    or
    unlock
    .
    The default Pin code is 1111.
SIM Lock must be turned on (enabled) in order to change the current SIM PIN.
  1. From the "SIM Lock" section, tap or click
    Change Sim Pin
    .
  2. Enter the appropriate information into the following fields:
    • Enter Old Pin
    • Enter New Pin
    • Confirm New Pin
  3. Tap or click
