Samsung Galaxy A51 5G UW - Add a Personal / Corporate Email Account

Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account on your Galaxy A51 5G UW.

  1. Open the
    Settings app
    .
  2. Navigate:
    Accounts and backup
    Manage accounts
    Add account
    .
  3. Tap one of the following:
    Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
    • Personal (IMAP)
    • Personal (POP3)
  4. Enter your email address then tap
    Next
    .
    Depending upon the email account type, the remaining steps may vary.
  5. Enter the password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, port, security type, etc.) then tap
    Next

    If you're not sure what your server info is, here are some common personal email server addresses. Contact your email provider if more assistance is needed or your server info isn't listed.
  7. If presented with account options (e.g., sync frequency, Inbox download size, etc.), configure as desired then tap

  8. Enter the appropriate info (e.g., Account name, Your name, etc.) then tap
    Next

Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website. If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account contact your Exchange / IT admin.

    Set up manually

  5. If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for extra support on:
    • Email address
    • Server address
    • Domain
    • Port number
    • Username
    • Password
    • Activate device administration
      Applies corporate security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).
      Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
    • Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
