Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account on your Galaxy A51 5G UW.
Add a Personal Email Account
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate:.Accounts and backupManage accountsAdd account
- Tap one of the following:Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
- Personal (IMAP)
- Personal (POP3)
- Enter your email address then tapNext.Depending upon the email account type, the remaining steps may vary.
- Enter the password then tapNext.
- If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, port, security type, etc.) then tapNext.If you're not sure what your server info is, here are some common personal email server addresses. Contact your email provider if more assistance is needed or your server info isn't listed.
- If presented with account options (e.g., sync frequency, Inbox download size, etc.), configure as desired then tapNext.
- Enter the appropriate info (e.g., Account name, Your name, etc.) then tapNext.
Add a Corporate Email Account
Verizon verifies access to data services only, which can be checked by viewing a website. If you need assistance setting up a corporate email account contact your Exchange / IT admin.
- Open theSettings app.
- Navigate:.Accounts and backupManage accountsAdd account
- TapExchange(for corporate email accounts).
- Enter your corporate email address and password then tapNext(lower-right).If the setup is unsuccessful, tapSet up manually.
- If needed, engage your Exchange / IT admin for extra support on:
- Email address
- Server address
- Domain
- Port number
- Username
- Password
- Activate device administrationApplies corporate security policy (e.g., Set up password, Device encryption).Device encryption can exceed 60 minutes.
- Sync options (e.g., Email, Contacts, Calendar)
