Here's how to set up a personal / corporate email account on your G Pad 5 10.1 FHD.

  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts

  2. Tap
    Add account
     .
  3. Tap one of the following:
    Check with your email provider or Exchange / IT admin to determine which account type to use.
    • Personal (IMAP)
    • Personal (POP3)
  4. Enter your email address then tap
    NEXT
     (lower-right).
    Depending upon the email account type, the available options may vary.
  5. Enter your password then tap
    NEXT

    If necessary, tap the
    Show password icon
     Show password icon to see your password as you enter it.
  6. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., USERNAME, PASSWORD,SERVER, etc.) then tap

    If you're not sure what your server info is, here are some common personal email server addresses . Contact your email provider if additional assistance is needed or your server info isn't listed.
  7. If presented, enter the appropriate info (e.g., SMTP server, PORT, SERVER, etc.) then tap

  8. Configure account options (e.g., Sync frequency, Inbox download size, etc.) as desired then tap

  9. Enter an account name (optional) then tap
    NEXT

    If presented, ensure a name is entered for outgoing messages.
