Here's how to check internet connectivity on your One Talk W78B IP DECT Cordless Phone.
- The following is provided for informational purposes only. Contact your IT admin to verify the following info.
- Verifying the IP address on the desk phone ensures the phone is communicating with the router; this doesn't necessarily mean the phone has access to the internet. See One Talk Ports and Protocols for correct internet settings on the router and desk phone.
- If the desk phone doesn't display an IP address, contact your IT admin to ensure the desk phone is allowed to communicate over the business network.
- Check for proper installation:
- If not connected via Power over Ethernet (PoE), ensure the phone is properly plugged into a functional AC outlet.
- Ensure the Ethernet cable is plugged into the Ethernet port on the back of the phone.
- If not receiving an IP address from the router, try using a different Ethernet port.
- Ensure the switch or hub in your network is operational.
- From the Home screen, navigate:then view the IP Address.Confirm the IP Address with your system admin.
