Here's how to check internet connectivity on your One Talk W78B IP DECT Cordless Phone.
  • The following is provided for informational purposes only. Contact your IT admin to verify the following info.
  • Verifying the IP address on the desk phone ensures the phone is communicating with the router; this doesn't necessarily mean the phone has access to the internet. See One Talk Ports and Protocols for correct internet settings on the router and desk phone.
  • If the desk phone doesn't display an IP address, contact your IT admin to ensure the desk phone is allowed to communicate over the business network.
  1. Check for proper installation:
    1. If not connected via Power over Ethernet (PoE), ensure the phone is properly plugged into a functional AC outlet.
    2. Ensure the Ethernet cable is plugged into the Ethernet port on the back of the phone.
    3. If not receiving an IP address from the router, try using a different Ethernet port.
    4. Ensure the switch or hub in your network is operational.
  2. From the Home screen, navigate:
    Ok
    Status
    Base
    then view the IP Address.
    Confirm the IP Address with your system admin.
