Verizon Family Roadside Assistance - Request Assistance

Here's how to request roadside assistance (e.g., towing, jumpstart, etc.) using the Verizon Family app.
  1. From the Home Screen Map in the Family app, tap the
    + icon
    .
  2. Tap
    Roadside Assistance
    .
  3. Tap
    Start a request
    .
  4. Tap the vehicle needing assistance.
    If the vehicle is not listed, tap Add a new vehicle.
  5. Select the service needed (e.g., towing, lockout, fuel delivery, tire change or jumpstart).
  6. Provide the vehicle location by either moving the pin on the map or entering the address.
  7. Enter the name, phone number and email address of the driver needing the service.
    The driver can be different from the person requesting service.
  8. Tap the check box if you'd like to receive status text messages about your request to the phone number you’ve provided.
    The requestor is also automatically sent in-app push notifications.
  9. Tap
    Submit request
    .
    If you're being towed, you'll also need to select a towing destination.
