Verizon Family Roadside Assistance - Request Assistance
Here's how to request roadside assistance (e.g., towing, jumpstart, etc.) using the Verizon Family app.
- From the Home Screen Map in the Family app, tap the+ icon.
- TapRoadside Assistance.
- TapStart a request.
- Tap the vehicle needing assistance.If the vehicle is not listed, tap Add a new vehicle.
- Select the service needed (e.g., towing, lockout, fuel delivery, tire change or jumpstart).
- Provide the vehicle location by either moving the pin on the map or entering the address.
- Enter the name, phone number and email address of the driver needing the service.The driver can be different from the person requesting service.
- Tap the check box if you'd like to receive status text messages about your request to the phone number you’ve provided.The requestor is also automatically sent in-app push notifications.
- TapSubmit request.If you're being towed, you'll also need to select a towing destination.
